About
A public record of unsolicited sales email, kept by people who have run mail servers for a long time.
What this site is
Unsolicited Outreach publishes cold sales email as it actually arrived: the pitch, the sending domain, the authentication results, and a plain-English explanation of why the message got through a filter. Each message is a record. Records are grouped by the domain that sent them and by the kind of pitch they carry.
It is not a blocklist and it is not a shaming exercise. Many of the domains here belong to businesses whose mailbox, website form, or DNS was used without their knowledge. The site exists so that the next person who receives one of these messages, or finds their own domain in one, can understand what happened.
Who runs it
The site is run by 37SOLUTIONS LLC, a Pennsylvania company that has provided hosting and email services since 2002. It is maintained by Greg Duffie. Reviewing unsolicited mail is a side effect of running mail servers for that long: you end up with a lot of it, and you learn to read the headers.
Why it exists
Most explanations of email security are written for people who already understand it. Most explanations of cold outreach are written by people selling it. We wanted a place where a small business owner could look up a domain, see what was sent from it, and get a straight answer about whether their own setup is the problem.
Everything we publish follows the methodology. Domain owners can ask for records to be removed or corrected under the removal policy, for free. Anything else, use the contact form.
