What we collect from visitors
Reading the site requires no account and sets no tracking cookies. We use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics that record page views without identifying you. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, for a short period to operate and secure the service.
What we collect when you contact us
The contact form collects your name, email address, and message. The removal form also collects the domain you are asking about and the verification token we issued. We keep these to handle your request and to keep a record of what we decided and why.
What appears in published records
Published records contain the sending domain and the content of a commercial message that was sent to us. We redact personal names, phone numbers, and street addresses that appear to belong to individuals. We never publish the recipient address. The methodology describes this in detail.
Retention
Contact and removal correspondence is kept for as long as the related record exists, and for a reasonable period afterward to answer follow-up questions. Server logs are kept for the period our hosting provider requires and no longer.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by writing to the address above. Domain owners use the removal form for published records.

We will update the “last reviewed” date above when this policy changes. Material changes will be noted on this page.
